 The European Surf Rowers Federation would like to extend an Open Invitation to all mens & womens surf rowers Worldwide to join them in September, 2008, at Biarritz, France, for: Ocean Thunder – Europe & European Surf Rowing Championship 2008!

As you know there are no 2008 World Surf Boat Championships in Germany, so the European Rowers Federation is staging 2 events for September 2008
- Ocean Thunder Europe
This event will be conducted on Saturday 6th September 2008. It will be an International Open event for men and women
- European Surf Rowers Federation - OPEN
This event will be conducted on Friday 5th September 2008. It will be an Open event for men and women and will incorporate Masters and the ESRF 2008 Championships

Travel: Official Aussie Tour Group: We have chosen GTR Travel who are major travel agents for World Cup Rugby & V8 Supercars . Costing to date are in and it's not too bad considering it is Peak season in Europe …..(Peak ends in October). We will also be staging some private functions for this group at our Aussie team hotel, so please understand if you choose to make your own travel arrangements invites will not be issued to these GRT travel functions / parties.
- Price from: $3440.00 per person (based on twin share - air taxes additional).
- Return Economy Class Airfare flying Cathay Pacific from Brisbane,Sydney,Melbourne,Perth or Cairns to Paris.
- 1st class Rail Travel from Paris -Biarritz-Paris including reserved seating.

- Onsite GRT staff in France.
Note: there may be an event staged a week prior called Holland Surf Boat Championship, so if your group want to go for Amsterdam as well - the airfare can be used to fly into Amsterdam and then out of Paris….we would only need to add accommodation in Amsterdam and a train pass from AMS-PARIS…..
Persons attending need to complete/pay deposit say of $500 and balance would be due end of June 2008.
If your crew is considering please make contact or email me as I will only keep updating those who are interested, there are some strict entry deadlines that carry penalties if we are late registering, so I need to keep in contact with the ESRF
